This new RPG Strategy game for the DS looks really promising. It doesn't look like there's really too much ground breaking new stuff in the game, but it looks like another quite good Japanese RPG by Atlus to watch out for. The animation and field set up is really strangely reminiscent of Final Fantasy Tactics, if you take a peek at some of the screen shots. I'm hoping that it's not too similar to Final Fantasy Tactics-- however, if it is, I honestly wouldn't mind too much, because that was one fine game.
You can read more about it here
Makes me a happy DS owner. ^^ _________________

Looking like a great game actually, I might have to start putting some extra cash away for it. I do hope however, it doesn't contain alot of the randomness factor that's been so prevalent in alot of the strategy games for Playstation 2. _________________ Be awed by our prowess!

The images in the article at Gamespot don't work, curse it all. EDIT: It was my browser, nevermind. I suppose all RPGs in this type of style will always have a resemblence to Final Fantasy Tactics as that is the game they all seem to take the most inspiration from (and rightly so).

Luminous Arc's storyline, which we're only around four hours into at this point, is told through conversations between key characters that, in many cases, take as long to get through as the battles that they're sandwiched between. Many of the conversations are voiced by actors, |
It better be in text for me to read as well, because I'm not sure if I could listen to about 10 minutes of something talking, I could probably read it but not listen, requires too much attention. :P |

This is one of the few DS games I'm actually looking forward to in the near future. And Atlus is always good. _________________ Inspired by everything |
