You know those cheap ancient texts you find in Kobold village? They sell for about 20,000+ potch per text. On a good day, close to 30,000. Sell them at Forest Village northwest of Greenhill.
Use the rare find trick on the trading stores to get a good stock. Although, I can't really remember where else you can get Ancient Texts, though. _________________

crystal balls are a good bet, you can usually get 6000 or more for them. just keep an eye on what item is bought and sold where, or go to gamefaqs for a breakdown of items/locations and best bets. _________________ prinny...DOOD!

A trick I use if you have patience is trade antiques, namely peeing boys, you get them from enemies and you can sell them at South Window trading post.
Bandits at North Sparrow Pass drop them, as well as a few other enemies i'm sure. They sell for a bundle, only takes one or two to get the required 50,000 potch and it's all profit since you get them from enemies.
Also if you end up with any extra Celadon urns after you get one for Lebrante (I usually do) they fetch a good price at Gregminster. _________________

And, I personally just buy gold in Crom and sell them in... Rockaxe? Or, well, practically anywhere else will buy gold for high high prices. Two bars should clear your quota in no time. As well as giving you a little bit extra for yourself. _________________ One day, I shall come back. Yes, we shall all come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Start early, all your trading before Gordon asks you counts too. At least as far as I remember. _________________ Be awed by our prowess!

Yea the best way to go about this is to start early. Every trading post you go to note the cheap items and buy something. I personally used crystal balls to earn most of the money because they are usually pretty common and can be sold in kobald village for a nice sum. Check out some strategy guides giving the highs and lows for all the items and where to sell them and you should be fine. _________________

I always go for the ancient scrolls, like people already said. Kobold Village is just wonderful (and they like crystal balls). _________________ Make me feel with your razor. |

I don't think Gordon's useless. At times, pearls are wonderfully cheap at 6K each, then I hold on to them until I get a place that wants them for 20K each. Deer antlers also sell well at his place, especially if you buy them in Forest Village. Peeing Boys are also cheap at Gordon's too. _________________ "Luca Blight, patron saint of population decrease." -- Benit, MST149
