http://www.videogamesprites.net/ is a classic source for such things. It doesn't extend past the SNES for the most part, but when it comes to older games there are plenty to be found. http://www.gsarchives.net looks like it might have some good results for you as well. I'm not as familiar with that site, but it seems to extend further into more recent titles.
