|
|
1. Unit Lending bewteen allies will now require an
active supply route.
This means if you have a battle happening far away and your ally is located very far away with all possible supply routes cut off from you, units cant' be lent.
By land, this would mean it's impossible to lend units if routes are cut-off by:
1) Enemies
2) Neutral nations
3) Nations you only have non-aggression agreements with
4) Nations who would allow you to use their trade-agreement only for supplies, but will not allow military units to pass (these have to be negotiated by each nation separately when they make their trade agreements).
By sea... well, you'll have to wait for naval rules...
2. 4th tier units can no longer be lent to allies.
This is because they are supposed to be the nation's
most coveted unit, and not something to be passed out
to other nations like hotcakes. They're proud and will
only fight under their own flag.
This should be self-explanatory.
These are two minor tweaks for phase 15.
New Naval rules to come next...

Seems fair enough. Nice addition Vex. This adds to the realism. |

Can we put conditions on the trade agreements (such as the unit is not used in attacking nation X) or is it an all or nothing deal as far as letting troops pass? _________________

It's really up to each nation to set up stipulations with their agreements. Admins won't typically interfere unless there's disputes as to "that nation broke their promise!" Etc. |

War Elephants are not fourth tier units. They're just special units. The Son of Sobki is the New Armes fourth tier unit. _________________

At this point, it doesn't matter. By the way... Ouch, Armes. I feel your pain. _________________

Do these routes have to be to the capital or just any region in that nation? _________________

Any region in that nation as long as they have supplies would qualify. Typically this means a region must be connected to the capital there are exceptions that can work.
1) Regions that have supplies due to a successful Supply Convoy run (naval).
2) Regions that have supplies due to supplies bought from allies or trade agreement partners (conventional).
The politics involving that is left up to each nation, though. |

He probably meant how Armes is isolated in the far corner of the map. Then again, it doesn't seem like Armes would need to rely on naval trade routes. |

Also how Armes doesn't have any secure naval routes to any of it's known allies, and so cannot send or recieve units. _________________ "Not everything is possible, but there are an infinite number of possibilities." |
