Argh, I got a heart attack when I read that the system is smart enough to recognise if one person looks at his own profile every few minutes... In fact I am so insecure that I am checking my profile half a dozen times and I was afraid I would get punished for that :mrgreen:
I am really curious how this will work in the end, although I don't like the system that much... I personally would appreciate if only one himself can view his own fame, because that is interesting, but to see that person x has alot more fame than person y, but both are nation leader do look a little strange (only to me).
I hope this won't be a "all nation member should look at each others profile!"-game in the end...

Well....will there be some reward for the lowest fame? Because I'm the first candidate for it....
However it is ok. HVG spies find this as an advantage - living unnoticed. :mrgreen:

Lonelion, mercenaries would probably be quite popular since their profile would be checked quite often by possible employers. So don't worry. And since Fame isn't really affecting anything anyways, there's no need to feel bad with having low fame. My fame isn't mighty high anyways. ^^

By the same token, they won't be checked out as often by national strategists as they don't know if they will have to worry about them.

Its ok. I generally search through peoples profile are random as the next person anyways. Its a sideaffect of boredum. But I will perhaps do that late late tonight after I'm done with a report I need to start and finish.
I hope people don't be come afraid to check others profiles now, in fear of them passing themselves. :-P.

This is a most interesting new add-on indeed Lord Sars (Apologies for still using the old name).
Fame will most likely result in a "morale" effect on the battlefield, when facing a general with a vast reputation and famous stories around him or her the enemy soldiers will most likely preform less well as their morale is dropped.
That's just a possible presight.

Wouldn't strategists find out if they have to worry about mercenaries by looking a their profile, causing strategists to be more likely to look at the profile?
