Would a true runes effect be different if it wasnt embeded on a sword

Exactly. I think anyone who would carry the Sov. Rune would have a different weapon manifestation. At least, if they mastered or were able to use the rune to any extent, that is. I am actually kind of anxious to see whether or not we will see it again in a Suikoden to come. My instinct says no, but my hopes all say PLEASE.
