I just got my Gi today and to my suprise there was a S4 review in it. The reviewer gave it an 8.5 while the second opinion gave it an 8.75.

yeah, it's good to get one soild review at least. I wasn't really tuned in when II was release, what was the highest grade it got?

| GI only gives two scores now. One for each reviewer, so that means the 8.75 is the highest. |

Heh, I tend to trust GI when it comes to reviews, but they might be a little biased when it comes to reviewing Suikoden games. ^^ They've given the whole series very high marks, which leads me to think quite a few of the editors are fans of the series. My rating so far for the game would be about an 8.25 max. (I'm about to head over to Kika's pirate nest)But it's good that some magazine is giving it praise, more chances for a Suikoden V. ;)

I would think this is an about 7.5 of 10 game, but depending on if the reviewer is a fan or not plus how the final product compaired to his/her expectations, there would be a 1.5 tilt either way.

I guess I would give it about an 8 also. I guess I like the story, but I love the battles, they just seem more fun then some that I have fought in the previous games. I guess that out of all reviewers, I trust GI the most.
