It's a matter of comparing the cost of localizing and printing the game versus how much they think they can profit from it. And virtual novels like the Suikogaiden series are not popular in American [note that to my knowledge, no one ever tried; how they can tell they're not popular is beyond me], and thus are not likely to break even in sales for the cost of production. This is the sad truth in the video game industry; no matter how bad -some- fans want the products, they need to cater to the entire market. I should correct myself: this is the sad truth in virtually all industries. |

well, what about ataining it by immoral process? How many of us can master Japanese quickly, get a mod chip and sluge through e-bay to buy it?
phoo
just cram the pics into a book, give us the story, and make it a "choose your own adventure type" book (because S.G. has luck factors right? some choses give you differnt outsomes) and give the soundtrak with the whole package. Seeing as how its not like a real game, nothing is lost.
or...make it a graphic novle, with music to use. _________________ few runes short of a set of 27

Try
http://play-asia.com/
or
http://www.ncsx.com/
or I think they had some here a bit ago
http://www.videogamedepot.com/
You're looking at around $20 - $30 per game and they are not remotly enjoyable if you don't know Japanese. They do each have an incredibly bad-ass movie though. You'll also need an import capible system which is as simple as buying an action replay for the PS1, but slightly more work if you just have a PS2.
Btw, you might want to tone down the "what's the best?" topics jusssst a bit. |

it's a text based rpg; those don't sell too well here in the us, so releasing it here would be pointless-no profit in it for konami.
the question's been answered; thread closed. _________________ prinny...DOOD!
