I don't what games I should ask for, so what are some good games? I only have PS2 and PC. Some games I already have in mind are MGS3, World of Warcraft, and NFSPU:2. What are some other good games? They don't necesarily have to be new either. Thanks.

Edit: I realize this probably should have gone in the game forum, so mods feel free to move it there.

You're welcome.

Anyways, I didn't answer your question because it was too broad.

What type of games do you want? RPGs? Action? Adventure? Fighting?

Are there any games in particular you want opinions on?

Any game that you enjoy, doesn't matter what genre.

Well here are a few I've been playing recently.

Fighting
Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 3 (Only in Japan, for the Gamecube)
Shaman King (This is what you get when you cross FFT with a fighting game)
DragonBallZ Budokai 3

Action/Adventure
Samurai Warriors & Samurai Warriors: Xtreme Legends
Devil May Cry 3
Metal Gear Solid 3

RPGs
Star Ocean 3
Shin Megami Tensei 4
Shadow Hearts Covenant

Devil May Cry 3 won't even be out this year, Gaara. And Shin Megami Tensei 4 hasn't even been announced...

I assume you want stuff that's fairly recent (like, stuff released this year).

If you're an action buff, try out Bujingai: The Forsaken City. It dwarfs the Devil May Cry series in sheer stylishness. I'm at a loss aside from that.

As for RPGs, Gamecube had the best ones of the year, so you're kinda missing out. If you're looking for any ol' RPG to play, get Megaman X: Comman Mission or The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age-- otherwise, just stick with a must-have like Shadow Hearts: Covenant.

Strategy titles are a bit more difficult to decide. If you're really into thinking and prefer a branching storyline instead of length, you could try out Growlanser Generations. If you enjoy power leveling, senseless manhandling and humor, go ahead and buy a Nippin Ichi-developed game that's hit North American stores this year (La Pucelle, Phantom Brave).

The sports genre is a lot easier to decide. If you want to sacrifice a bit of extras for a lot of saved cash, go with a Sega Sports-developed ESPN title. If all the little things matter, go with one of EA's games.

2004 saw a lot of fighters (more than usual, anyway); both 3D and sprite-based. Of course, since you only have a PS2 and PC, your choice of 3D is limited to King of Fighters: Maximum Impact, which was okay. Nothing incredible, but still solid. 2D, on the other hand, has seen Capcom Fighting Evolution, SNK versus Capcom: SVC Chaos, and King of Fighters '00/'01.

Action-platformers are fairly abundant this holiday season, what with Jak 3, Ratchet and Clank: Up your Arsenal and Sly 2 coming out very close to each other. Traditional-platformers as scarce on the PS2 regardless of the year, but if you can find it, go buy Klonoa 2. It's old and pretty hard to find, but all platformer fans are required to play it-- especially if they stumble upon it in a used game section.

That should do it.

What about first-person shooters? I was thinking about Killzone...

I recommend buying GTA:San Andreas.
Killzone however is a pretty good FPS, but it has its flaws. :|

Don't buy GTA: San Andreas unless you like playing the same game for a third time.

First-person shooters... there's always the obvious choices of Doom 3 and Half-Life 2.

I already got San Andreas and I liked it a lot, beat it twice in a row.

I actually find SA way different than Vice City or GTA3. Depends on your perspective though.

Most of the ones I'd recomend are already up here though.
