spoilers

well, in the process of moving, I can only use the internet at school, and since they've blocked anysite that relates to games(except a few, this site, and other's, I'm not sure why). So, I've been stuck on a few games for a while now, if anyone can help me out with them, that'd be great. I can't get to a site like gamefaqs, and i'm confused.....

FFX- I'm stuck on a boss, during Yuna's travels, where there are 6 platforms floating in the air, and the boss always seems to catch one of my characters, and then my party slowly dies....Any strats would help, or else I'll just continue to try to evade as long as I can. I can usually evade him, but can't seem to get any damage off without getting hit.....

Beyond the Beyond- I have 3 of the 4 ancient tablets, the one I don't have is bandore's. I went to class advance before going to Barbados, to see Lorelei, and I guess that was wrong. I went there, the king gave me the tablet, but no Lorelei. And now I don't know where the last tablet is, I went to pity island, got that tablet, got the one from arawn as well, but now I'm stuck...and can i still get Lorelei(still don't know if I'm spelling her name right)........I'm not sure if it's near the Bandore Volcano, there's a big rock infront of a door near there, but I can't budge it.

GTA: SA- I beat the story mode, but never did end up doing the bank job for Wuzzi, where you have to sex up yourgirlfriend to get her passcode. I got 1/3 of the way with her, then went and did other stuff....Can I still do the bank robbery job? Or did I miss it or what?

Thanks for anyone who can help, i'm stuck now that I can't move on with these games, well, except SA, but if anyone can help.....thanks again..

*smacks head* cannot help you, I beat FFX solo, sans all the special summons and side quests (ultimate weapons)
I think I know what boss you speek of but I just cannot recall what I did. Its the boss in Zanerkand(sp). the key is to have some status protect assessories and auto raise spells. FF 10 is very hard if you negelect to use that annoying grid. YOU must use it all the time, and make carefulll actions.

anway your plat forms will glow when targeted, luckly it takes some turns (or 1) for the boss to do its nasty attack, try moving your guys, or sacrfice a summon during those rounds.
-----------
no one here seems to enjoy Beyond the Beyond
-------
don't play games like GTA

Yeah, i've been trying just too, but he keeps slaughtering me. Any other hints or techniques I should try?

All those people are just jealous of the extreme greatness that is Beyond the Beyond.

Why not? GTA is a quite good game, if I say so. But I'm not here to debate what games people like, but if you have a good reason....then go ahead...

FFX- Go into battle with your aeons in overdrive mode, simple as that. I also found that putting your characters in a triangle formation helps for that battle, so that no character is standing beside another.

Lorelai is in the dungeon? I went down to the dungeon, there isn't anyone there. Do I have to trigger some event or something, because both doors are open, unless there's a secret chamber or something....can you clarify croix?

yeah, i'lll try the triangle deal, and I'll get my aeons into overdrive, and try to kill that fool...thanks

I found this in a walkthrough.

SPOILERS!!!!!!!

Quote:

The final tablet is at Barbaros. When you go there, you will notice
that you whole castle/village is nearly destroyed. Go to the main
castle hall where the king awaits to say his last words. Ignore what
the king's advisor says. He is basically mumbling how afraid he was
when he saw the beast... Get the last tablet.
* NOTE Here's how to find Lorele, another secret character in the
game: Once Barbaros get destroyed, go back. Talk to the King and
then a guard. You will receive a key. Lorele is in a secret passage
way just before the stairs to the dungeon. Search the right wall and
you'll find the secret passage. Use the key you just got and you'll
have Lorele!!
*Another Trick: In the destroyed town of Barbaros, try to get up on
the upper gate wall that you can see when you first when you enter the
town. You can find a way leading to the upper gate walls in the
castle. On the Left Side of the gate walls, go as far as you can go
until you find a a dead end. Though you will not be able to see
yourself, at the dead end, go ahead & talk. A secret merchant will
talk to you & sell you some special items that you cannot buy anywhere
else in the game.
* Now that you have all the tablets, place them in the small four
islands with the temple shrine. There is no particular order.
* There will be a flashing light scene. The Flying Temple will arise
from the depths of the sea.
* Before you go in, be sure to be stocked up on items.

I hope that helps, if you want more then just drop me your email address across and I'll mail you the whole text file.

So do you still need help with the boss or did you defeat it? You're probably gonna be back soon anyways asking for help against Yunalesca so here's some advice against her:
Quote:
First form: 24 000 HP, and normal attacks. Not too hard. She will use ranged
physical attacks to deal around 250 damage on one target, casting Dispel on
the same occasion. Whenever you attack her, she will counter with an abnormal
status based on the offence you used. If you attacked her physically, she
will cast Darkness, while if you attacked her magically, the target will be
Silenced. You can counter that casting Reflect on your party though. Simply
deplete her HP quickly, using physical attacks or magic(Holy from Yuna works
extremely well here. Lulu could use it too, if you followed my suggestion of
using a White Magic sphere to learn the spell from Yuna's part of grid).

Second form: She has twice as much as HP as she had, but she hasn't grown up
that much for her attacks. First move that she uses an initiative will be
Hell Bitter, which inflicts Zombie on your party(and deal few points of
damage). Let me guess, Holy Water? NO, don't even think about using one. It
would even be wise to let her inflict Zombie on every characters you got.
Sure you won't be able to heal anymore, since you will damage yourself
instead, but it will save you later. As for her other actions, she will cast
curative spells on you such as Cura and Regen, in order to damage you. Thanks
to the fact that you have Reflect cast on your party, she will heal herself
instead. Bad? Nah, Cura will only heal her for a few thousand of points. You
should be able to deal over 15 000(or even more) damage per turn at this
point, so it won't be much of a big deal. As for Regen, you can just Dispel
it when she's under the status. Just keep attacking her until she morphs in
her last form.

Third form: Fine, now she's a bit better, but har. The first attack that she
will use is Mega Death, which inflicts Death on your party. But since you let
her inflict Zombie on you with her Hell Bitter previously, it won't do
anything but Miss! As for other attacks, she will counterattack you with her
ranged physical attacks, and she will use Mindblast too, which must be her
best attack, since it deals up to 600 damage on your party and occasionally
inflicts Confuse. Confuseward or Proof armors are helpful here, or you could
just hit the Confused targets with a low strength character like Yuna or
Lulu, to disable its effects. Yunalesca will cast Curaga as well, which could
be instant-kill to a zombie. BUT, you must still stay under zombie status
because Yunalesca can struck with Mega Death again. For your attacks, it's
the time to use anything you had in reserve. Characters or Aeons overdrives
will both finish off Yunalesca quite effectively. Overkill her, for your AP's
sake.

San Andreas: I think it's 35 or 40 percent to trigger Millie giving you th card. If you don't want to wait that long, try killing her (But I don't really have the heart to, myself). I think Woozie should call you to pick up that card. But you can do that mission anytime.

I tried against that floating platform boss, couldn't beat him, but had him almost. Down to a few thousand hps, but couldn't finish the job. I'll get him tonight, got nothing on my schedule...

Thanks for the Yunalesca walkthrough, I hear she's pretty difficult, so naturally I'll have some difficulty with him......

and the San Andreas stuff Ced, thanks, I didn't know you could kill her.I probably won't, but 40 percent i'm not far frm.......I'll end up doing it soon then..

thanks to all, now I can continue on with my games :)
