I always had the dream to work on the Suikoden series. As long as Konami is not like that, then it is cool with me. Other then that..... _________________ Avatar courtesy of Midori

I would take that those with a grain of salt. I have a hard time believing someone who was working 70 hour weeks wouldn't complain to their union or walk out or the like. Under most state laws I know of, working that long without any compensation is illegal.
I also find it interesting that the two diaries were started within days of one another, both were last updated 5 days ago, and both have extremely similar writing styles - I couldn't tell the difference between the two if they weren't on seperate pages. While I don't doubt EA probably works their people hard (being one of the biggest software developers in the field - they probably do), but I do doubt that any company with such huge violations would get away with it time and time again - especially if it were common all over the company. _________________

That's because they're from the same person (well, the same couple).
At least, according to Penny Arcade, it's true. And while considering a webcomic site as an info source may seem silly, they're known to be reliable. _________________

Most of the time, salaried workers have no unions. Also, salaried people are typically hired as "exempt emplyees," meaning they never get paid overtime. Their pay is based on acoomplishing objectives, and are not based on an hourly base. |

how much say does this guy have? I mean...there is a development team, then there are the dreamers. apparently I hear, if you can draw good enough anime, animation studios will make your show...if you mail them drawngs. Maybe this goes for vidio games..
awany what does it take to be a story maker, or the guy who has the idea for a type of game...not the programers. what do you really need to do that? _________________ few runes short of a set of 27
