His weapon is Isabel+. This is the same name The Warriors village give there weapons. Is Mathias related to the village in anyway or this just a fun reference for his dedication to Isabel?
Also i thought Warriors village only use swords, but Mathias uses a pike.

My position is that he's a native of the Warrior's Village, yes. I see no reason to believe why they would use ONLY swords.

Since the Maximillian Knights come out of Toran, I would say it would most definately make sense for Mathias to be from Toran.

I believe so as well. There doesn't seem to be any other explaination for it.
I don't think all the warriors use swords either. Didn't Teengar use a long range attack? Well I guess she doesn't count, but I don't they're limited to swords either.
