one thing ive not tried yet is that are these rune combinations present in suikoden 2 - 4? ive never tried them on those games (i dont have the time back then, but now im trying to replay 2). can you perform combinations in those games? just wanna know. thanks.

Well i know in four you can i think possibly 2 but 3 you definently can not combine magic

You can combine runes in S1, S2, and S4

The most useful combination I think is the Fire+Lightning.

i kind of like thunder god better, that's lightning and water combined. does great damage and it heals your party even if some one has died.

In Suikoden I you can combine level four magic of the elemental runes, but it doesnt always work. It does work in Suikoden II.

Now i Suikoden I i could never to get it to work all the time. I had Flik cast a level 4 lightning spell and Camile cast a level 4 fire spell, they sometimes combined.

It always worked in Suikoden II.

in 2 and 4 it shows you under the level 4 spell that you can combine the 2 magics, unfortunetly 1 never did that.
