At first it was a minor annoyance, because it happened a lot less, but now I'm starting to get pissed off with it because it's occurring more and more. Almost every time I try to access the site, I have to log in, despite clicking 'Log me in Automatically' every single time I do it. I never turn my computer off, but it does go into sleep mode every 15 minutes, but I don't find that this has anything to do with it.

As I said before, it's mostly just a minor annoyance, but lately (with the site having been very slow), it's been slowly making me crazy. Does anybody else have this problem?

That has to do with your browser's security setting involving cookie retention. Nothing I can do to help.

I have the same problem. I reset my settings, but it still happens.

I get the same problem. Deleting cookies actually MAKES you log in again.

Not unsurprising considering that cookies are what retains the information that you wished to remain logged in.

It could be security settings, as Sars suggested. No-one seems to have tried it, (or at least they haven't posted about it) instead simply deleting all their cookies.

The same was happening to me as well, but I realised that I was just sometimes clicking on the forums link twice to access the forum from the main page. Once I made sure to only click the link once and wait for the forums to load (sometimes it takes a bit), it seems to log me in automatically every time.

I've had this lately it only seems to occur to me when the servers are running slow (or my internet connection possibly), on those occasions I will tend to try loading the page a few times like Firefly mentions so perhaps that is something that's related to this issue occuring to a lot of people lately.
