Star Rune? That explains the cross in the intro. Maybe those blue "handles" that fade out are supposed to represent a corona? |

It may also represent a sword, because the Star Rune is an incarnation of the Night Rune, which changed its form into a sword. The Star, Dawn, and Dusk Rune were created in the wake of the Night Rune's "schism" from the Sun Rune (they were separate true runes, but were connected in the sense that they opposed each other. The Night Rune got tired of his role and change his form, cutting himself off from the role as the Sun Rune's opposition). |

That seems like something the Star Dragon Sword would do.
So, IOW, the Sun and Night Runes are proper True Runes, whereas the Dawn, Dusk, and Star Runes are not? So does this make them a little bit like Rage or Thunder runes? Does the Star Rune give any clue as to what powers the Night Rune might have aside from the ability to slay vampires? |

Well..I must admit that's the last thing I expected her rune to be.
I suppose that confirms the star dragon sword IS the rune, rather than having the rune attached. But I agree with Forum Poster. That totally sounds just like the Star dragon Sword.
I'm pretty curious about It's powers and how powerfull her Star rune is myself... _________________

The Star Rune is rather powerful. I find it quite useful, especially becalse Zelase joins pretty early in th egame.
And yes, Dawn/Dusk/Star are not True Runes. However, they are "one of a kind" runes, which makes them a notch above Rage/Flowing/etc. |

Does the Dawn and Dusk prevent the bearer from going mad if they are used with the Sun Rune? _________________ Prejudice is a great timesaver. It enables you to form opinions without bothering to get facts. |

Since they aren't true runes, the logical answer would be, no. _________________ In nomine domini sabaoth sui filique ite ad infernos |

Well, in the cannon ending for Suikoden II, Riou did not get a true rune either. _________________ In nomine domini sabaoth sui filique ite ad infernos |

But in the best ending, Riou got the Rune of Beginning (Both Bright Shield and Black sword). So he still a true rune bearer. Even if he only hold Rune of Bright Shield, it is also consider a true rune isn't it? |

No, the Bright Shield and Black Sword Runes are not True Runes when seperate. _________________ http://www.needgod.com - If you're just interested in Christianity or if you think you don't need to be Christian, then try taking the quiz at this website. |

Actually, in the best and official ending Riou healed Jowy, they both kept their runes, and then they traveled around with Nanami. _________________ http://www.needgod.com - If you're just interested in Christianity or if you think you don't need to be Christian, then try taking the quiz at this website. |
