Hey hey, i'm also worried, but let's not worry to much about it!
Don't forget the trailers we saw..and the info we already know..there are more positive new thing than bad ones.. fro mthe bad ones we don't even know how real they're.. we don't know if the person who wrote them was a real suikoden fanatic or someone that don't like the suiko series... we should wait a few days more until we cry like babys...i will get the chance to play suikoden 5 at this weekend, because a friend of mine pre-ordered it and he will play it with me together..afters this i will be able to judge about it |

All the evidence we've seen so far leans towards bepbo's comments being wrong... I mean in the promo videos we see the battle transition and it was fast. Would it not make sense for that to have come from an actual PS2?
Regardless I have it on pre-order and though I wont understand a word I'll let you know about encounter rates and loading times and such :p
Wont get to New Zealand till next week though! ><

The loading going into a building isn't bad, but the loading leaving a building could be slightly annoying, but once you consider the size of the town then it diminishes the urge to be annoyed, somewhat. I'm very pleased witht he fact that we can enter random houses again. Time to steal some treasure that some poor jube has been working for his entire life. No one alert the cops, please!

That Jamaican/Bob guys name is Gavaya, I think. He mentions the Ames Southern Corp who are seen battling the Barows army in the major battles. He also mentions Rimu-chan who the prince mentions in an option somewhere (the first playthrough thread). His options are:
"I'm home, Rimu." and
"It's noisy."
Also, anyone know what town that is? I'm thinking Stormfist, but it's just a hunch and based of the art for Stormfist. Thanks for the link to them Himuro! Now, we just need to learn what they're saying...

Actually Gavaya mentions 'Rimu-chan' or 'Limu-chan'... which is the short form of Limsleia's name... from his dialogue he sounds like a tournament hopeful who got rejected because he's from Armes.
I've translated it in the video thread...
