Okay, so you get to the secret room in the inn by being accidentally teleported there by Viki, correct? Does anyone know the odds of this happening? I know I've been teleported hundreds of times, and it's never happened. Although, I was teleported to the wrong place once. I believe I selected Ryube (it may have been Sajah, or I could be completely off the mark and it was some other city (though I'm pretty sure it was Ryube)) and I ended right back at the entrance to North Window Castle. |

my guess is its random number with each location having a number corresponding to their location and that number then being tied to a % of swapping. Alas i dont know the axact odds though they are relatively slim. _________________

I've never gotten it, either. The only places I've accidently been teleported to are the North Window castle, and the cave of wind. 0.o _________________

Out of about 7 or 8 playthroughs, I've been mistransported only a handful of times. However, one of those times I ended up there. _________________

The highest chance of it happening (from my experience) was before the Highland Army occupies Radat under Luca Blight or more specifically, before you head to the Toran Republic to get support. It almost always happened to me while I was doing the Unicorn Quest without the Blinking Mirror. _________________ "Oranges can't fit into circles because rectangles are made of cheese." |

The worst is when you get taken to the middle of the Two River sewers and have to walk out!
Nothing can affect your chances of being taken to the secret room. Sorry. _________________

Hmm...I've never been there myself, and I've played Suikoden II...well, quite a lot. But then again, the chance of being mistransported at all is exceedingly low. I usually get transported to the middle of the Two River sewers, or the Cave of the Wind...the sewers is especially annoying, as Blue Thunder pointed out, because you have to walk out of the bloody thing.
Just out of defeatest curiousity, what's in the so-called "secret room" above Radat's Inn? _________________

There are three chests in the room. One has a Blue Gate Crystal, the other one a Mole Suit (I think) and the third one has a 9-pack Mega Medicine.
There's also a door in the room, which can't be accessed because the shop owner will catch you. I have never been misteleported up there twice in the same game, so I don't know if you can even enter it the second time. My guess is that you can't. Those Konami bastards play with our minds. Damn them! _________________ "Oranges can't fit into circles because rectangles are made of cheese." |

You can. If you get teleported in a second time, it's just as you left it. The chests will not "respawn" or anything. _________________

It is totally random. You best bet if you still haven't gotten in in your normal play through is to spend and entire day teleporting and blinking mirror back repeatedly until you get in... _________________ Kobolds are great! |

I get in without much of a problem, but only very late in the game. I sometimes have to randomly port around before Rockaxe to get there, but it doesn't take TOO long. Otherwise I get sdent back to the front gate or to the cave of the Wind. WHat is it with that place that Viki keeps sending you there? _________________

It only seems like it because you don't want to be there.
It's what's commonly known as 'Random Battle Syndrome', the common infliction where if you're in a rush you get into a battle on a map once every 1.2 seconds, the counterpoint is, of course, that if you ever want to get into a battle to train or find an item, you'd have to clear your calendar for the next week before you get so much as a Bon Bon standing before your party. _________________ One day, I shall come back. Yes, we shall all come back. Until then, there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine. |

So that's what it's officially known as eh? 'Random Battle Syndrome', I suffer from it all the time....
I've never made it into Radat's inn either, but I never really sat there trying. _________________ ______ "We're still flying"

Those retards only got it right in one game..... The first time they tried was in suikoden I. It was the village in forset village. The man wouldn't let you go up stairs. Then in suikoden II it works but only if your lucky. Then suikoden III there was no sign of an Inn you couldn't go up stairs in. But I am sure they tried to do it!
Finally in suikoden IV there is yet another place where you can't enter. Its near the bath in Nal. I belive its in the shop. Anyway the Keeper won't let you go upstairs..... _________________
