Whats this about FC's name being Hideo? |

Technically, you could call the Flame Champ "Hideo", because his full title is: 炎の英雄, or honoo no eiyuu. 英雄 can also be read as Hideo. |
There's your answer. If you can't see the kanji, then...go download a language pack or something. The way you do it varies depending on OS version (mac, linux, windows) and on browser. (IE, Firefox, Mozilla, ect)
In regards to Lazlo, I, being a somewhat sheltered American, find the name strange. I've never heard of anyone with that name before (short of GTA:VC, that is), but I suppose it fits him, so I can't complain. (well, I could, but it just gets me in trouble. Same in life and the rest of the intarweb.) _________________

Wow, no offense Konami, but Lazlo is a horrible name. It reminds me of Camp Lazlo (not a bad show... but seriously).
Fiyero is a better name than LAZLO!!
Yes, I ripped Fiyero off from Wicked. No, that's not what I named my hero.
Hmm... Fiyero is not a bad name. Note to self, next time name someone Fiyero. _________________

i dont care so much for what characters are called. i tend to just use the given name without comlaint because it just sounds better. But hey, at least hero4 has a name, the flame champion doesnt though....and lazlo isnt a bad name. i actually kind of like it. Its different. Which is good to me!
Course i'm probably one of the few that think so...oh well. |

What a dumb name. Seriously, I dislike that. It doesn't sound very epic, or like it could really muster up courage in people to fight. :/ |

Is it absolutely certain that it's written Lazlo and nothing else? For example, if the original Japanese is RAZURO, it could be translitterated as almost anything thanks to those to r's, like Razro, Razlo, Lazro, Lazuro, or Lazlow like the GTA DJ. So, what's the original Japanese kana and is there any solid basis on translating it as Lazlo/Laslo and nothing else? |
