Suikoden saved games!

If there were the possibility to transfer data in Suikoden 4 or a subsequent Suikoden, I might think of buying a dexdrive or something equivelent.
It would have to be worth it, y'know.

Nope, the memory cards hold no region on them whatsoever. I have saves on my memorycard from NTSC games and PAL. It's interchangeable what you save on there, but no interchangeable what you load.

You can save on any memory card, but PAL only loads onto PAL. NTSC only loads onto NTSC.

Kind sucks really that...

you don't have to get a dexdrive!! You could get one of those USB Thumb Drive for the PS2 & Xbox!! You can hook it up to the computer !! Just download the save games from Gamefaqs. I think those drives runs for ~30 USD !

What versions of Suikoden I & II do you have? PAL or NTSC?
All three of my Suikodens are NTSC so i have my own game saves and some saves i got from www.gamefaqs.com, but you need a DexDrive and they are cheap and well worth it.

I am from Ireland....whci is obvious! So if i can help please let me know.

PAL...if I had NTSC, I wouldn't have the problem.

How much do DexDrives cost, and where can you get them from?

Did you try contacting the seller of said memory card and asking him very nicely if he would be willing to post the item to the UK (with you obviously paying the extra postage)?

I`m in pretty much the same situation(modded PAL PS2, PAL S1 and 2), and I just bought a DexDrive off of eBay. It shouldn`t be too expensive. I still haven`t been able to use it though, since I forgot about Europe and the US having different voltages. :roll: So I had to buy a voltage adaptor for it, which hasn`t arrived yet.

And Moody_Mage is right..try asking. I`ve done that several times, and I`ve never been turned down yet.

Icebergin`s idea is probably the best, though...
