There's an odd problem with it, it seems to be up and down very irregularly.
I'm trying to get my own webserver up ASAP but please deal with this in the meanwhile :/

Yeah... I'm not able to get on the site. I'm a great chess player and I'd love to sample how you all play.
As far as the discussion about Go is concerned, it doesn't matter. If you think chess sucks, then don't post in here. You're only going to arouse anger and cause problems. Its like posting why you love soccer in a thread about the NFL. But anyhow, in terms of popularity, Chess has Go beat tenfold. You don't hear of any "Go Grandmasters" or any movies about a professional Go player.
Go is a lot more random, which is why many people play it. Chess is formulaic and it comes down 100% to strategy. Whomever has a superior strategy and countering skills will come up the victor. With go, its not a war, there's no "weaknesses" to exploit. I play chess because it provides a stimulation to the brain. Half of a live ches game is getting the feel for your opponent. I'm the kind of player who psyches their opponent out while playing. Chess is, to me, more exciting to play than Go. Personal opinion.

chess is more popular, that's true, but that can change ;-)
go is gaining in popularity as we speak.
Anyway, the site WILL be down for good on september 21st so next time it's up I'll make a dump of the data.
I'm still working on my webserver..
