ESL and dialects (inspired by the Banner Competition)

I'm used to British orthography and terminology, so living in America and communicating with Americans are somehow annoying; they keep using their own slangs and spellings. Anyway, I think the colour, honour, etc should be spelt as they are in British English; and they should keep terms like car park, biscuits, etc instead of parking lot and cookies...oh well, they can use whatever they want, being freely wild Americans... :!:
