Well, well, well Im really surprised by this, I was convinced that she was a boy.

And Scarlet I had the same trouble with Jowy, he simply looked like a girl to me people.

But at the time I played Suikoden 2 I wasn't familiar at all with the Japanese manga drawing style.

I aways thought Rico was fairly obviously a girl. 0.o A young girl, I'll grant you, but I thought she was more feminine than not.

However, I would have laughed at you if you told me Sasarai was a boy in Suikoden II (I thought the hat was a GIGANTIC bow instead of a GIGANTIC hat) or that Tuta wasn't a girl (IT LOOKS LIKE HE IS WEARING A LITTLE DRESS, OK?!) , so perhaps I'm not the best judge of character art. :lol:

Good point about Sasarai. I thought (s)he was Luc's old flame or something. lol

There are pretty many gender confused characters in Suikoden. I couldn't even tell what Quincy was during Suikoden. I even thought Lorelai was a dude. Suikoden IV was a great improvement though, because you can just look at the character's chest to see if it's a dude or a chick. :wink:

I must admit, I thought Jowy was a girl at first glance...actually, I thought it pretty attractive...

Ahem. Anyway, I also thought that Gremio was a girl, I didn't realize it until very late into the game that he was not. :|
