Family Guy... *shudders*
Anyway, it was cancelled just because it wasn't suitable for small children, with the violence and the screaming and all.
Especially the screaming seamed to be a problem.
Angry moms wrote nickolodeon a bunch of letters and they decided to pull the plug on the show.
That and most fans of Zim where teenagers and those aren't nickolodeon's target audience...
They should have never put the show on nickolodeon in the first place... |

Unfortunally this can no longer be done.
I believe nickelodeon sold the rights of the show to the same company that is now making the DVDs.
Besides, Jhonen has specificly stated that he isn't going to continue making the cartoon. And for someone else to pic up where he left isn't exactly a good idea either. I doubt anybody could think up crazy plots the way Jhonen does...
He should have made the show for Cartoon Network in the first place...

I prefer Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sea Lab 20-21, and Family Guy myself. Maybe I should give this show another chance though, haven't seen it in years.
