getting ride of the black background is very very simple. well depends on the program your using. if you have photoshop it'll make things a whole lot easier. i can help ya out with them once i get internet on my laptop.

I figured out how to do it. I use The Gimp, and, well, nothing's as simple as it could be with it. I just selected the image, copy, make a new window, and paste, and I got it.

I forgot about those Wallpapers I had of the True Elementals, so that's where I got those from. I made them as big as Suikox would allow. That's why the True Lightning is so small. It's much wider than the others.

A black background. I usually paint over anything else in the picture, to leave the Rune. I'm trying this to get the Rune of Punishment from a Wallpaper. It's... not going well. The symbol's too intricate.

A major update today! None of this would have been possible without ardPSiKo, who found all these Rune images, and sent them to me. Thanks to him, we have 13 new Runes in the collection!
The Beast Rune
The Cyclone Sword Rune
The Charm Rune
The True Gate Rune
The Jongleur Rune
The Rage Sword Rune
The Red Rose Rune
The Rune of Beginning
The Rune of Punishment
The Thunder Sword Rune
The Waking Rune
The Warrior Rune
Huzzah!
Also, I've been thinking. I've been looking at the mass of Runes in the collection, and all the barriers and white corners over them aren't actually great. So, I thought I might remove them, and leave the perimeter black, as I've done with the Counter Rune, (our thirteenth new Rune. I had it saved in my Hard Drive for this long, and I forgot to upload it!)
Let's compare it to another.
It seems to me that the black backround makes the image seem larger. I'm all for big Runes. Tell me if you want them changed!
So, what do you think of all those new Runes? You have ardPSiKo to thank for them!

the actual symbol doesn't show up, but lenkaat does use it in 1 at the end.

Thanks for the thought, but it looks like the same one I have on my HDD. I only resized it so it would fit the parameters for avatars here on Suikox, 120 X 150.
EDIT: Actually, if you want it with a 400 x 378 resolution Blue Moon Rune, just tell me. I have one, although it's a bit pixelated.

Your Beast Rune's background seems a little lighter than Suikox's background, you may want to fix that.

I personally like them better without the border, but only if they are used on a site with a black background like SuikoX's. You could also make a less thick border which, in my opinion, would increase spiffyness by 10. |
