[Phase 9] Island Nations Exploration

Ninjar, eXistence of Fly, and MichaelW set out to explore the southern seas, leaving Gaien. They had no clear target other than the vague, "just keep going south until you see something" directive that came from the Duke of Gaien.

After a few weeks of aimless voyage, the exploration team were besieged by a group of pirates. Although Ninjar skillfully dispatched the pirates that attacked his ship, eXistence of Fly and MichaelW were not as fortunate. However, just as the exploration party's fate seemed to be sealed, the pirate ships were blasted into tiny bits by a rune cannon. At the horizon, the explorers saw the banner of the Island Nations navy, also flying the banner of admiral Skald Egan. The exploration party cheered.

The admiral explained that he has been on an extended campaign to root out all pirates that took refuge in the islands between Falena and the Island Nations. Now that he is finished with his campaign, he joins the ranks of the island Nations military force once again.

The explorers return to Gaien with the admiral.
