To investigate the rumours of a new species of animal, the scholar cutie_bunnie compiles a heartened exploration team and sets out to prove or disprove these rumours.

After a few days of exploring, Excalibur1027 notices some tracks close to Calme Auberge that he's never seen before. As he begins to follow the tracks, the party is attacked by a group of monsters!

After the battle, cutie_bunnie decides to continue to follow to trail right into dusk, where the trail heads into a thick marsh land along the north eastern coast of Calme Auberge. A small village resides around here to which bbsting120 suggests they rest at an inn for the night and contemplate their next course of action.

Sitting around the inn around a table, the exploration crew overhear some drunken old men talking about "The Tazel Worm", a monster terrorising villages further to the east, and how they were hoping the Queen would delegate some troops to destroy the beast.

Proudly, Excalibur1027 steps up to the mark and declares that himself, cutie_bunnie and bbsting120 will step up and vanquish the foul fiend!

After traveling for what seemed like the rest of the day, they arrive at a strange looking village that none of the exploration team have seen before. It's style was rather odd and strange tracks were scattered along the ground--

"They're the same tracks!" cutie_bunnie declared "This can't be the Tazel Worm. Can it?"

An eerie silence fell over the exploration party, but before any one of them had a chance to break the silence a blood curdling scream erupted from a large marsh. A very strange creature charges out of the marsh with an injured looking man on it's back. Right on it's track is a large worm-like creature salivating at the mouth with noxious fumes.

Before anyone has a chance to charge towards it, the creature moves with great speed towards Excalibur1027 and begins to attack him with savagery--

Tatzlwurm is the winner!

Excalibur staggers back caught by cutie_bunnie who begins giving him some of the medicinal supplies. bbsting120 throws a knife towards the Tatzlwurm hoping to distract the beast but luckily manages to land the blade between the scales of the creature, which reels back in obcvious pain filling the land with a grotesque houl.

Out of nowhere, more of these strange creatures come out of the marsh, riders on their backs brandishing spears and pitch forks. They begin to charge at the injured worm stabbing at it, the creatures kicking at the embedded blade as it falls back.

While distracted, bbsting120 slides foward pushing his sword deep into the mouth of the Tatzlwurm finally slaying the beast. A large cheer sounds from the men and women riding on the backs of the beasts.

After much talking and resting, the villagers introduce themselves and agree to work for the Queendom for thanks for their help in slaying the Tatzlwurm which preyed on many of their newborns and livestock.
