Is there an official name for the 'Hero 5'?
Would they make a graphic novel for Suiko 5?
If there are some details, please post it here. Thank you! _________________

I think it is a little too soon for these questions, but in all likely hood there will be a novalisation, weather it be graphic or not i do not know, but it will probably contain a near offical name for hero 5.
Though there is already a non offical name for him floating around, but i forget what it is. |

Hmm... the Konami's special memory card (the one that contains Prosperity Rune and Champion Rune at the beginning of the game) does have a name for the Prince because it contains the data from the first save point. It is Felarsh or Farush or something like that. Konami denied that it is an official name, though. _________________

man i'm glad that they didn't take that as the official name..
In german that would be a fancy version of the word "Fellarsch" that would mean in english: Fur-butt ...that would be stupid to read as a german pal-gamer..
There will probably be a novel..but we will have to wait for it.. |

Konami has never claimed that any of the novel names as official names either. They are no more valid than the name used for the Prince in the promotional memory card.
It's not possible to get "Fellarch" out of the original spelling of the name, so whatever. |

Some people were calling him Ouji but that is only because it means prince in japanese. I think. |

I really like Ouji for a name. I think thats what I'm going to go with. I was just going to name him Prince but this sounds better. |

Yup, "ouji" means "prince".
In any case, anybody knows the katakana used for the Prince's name in the promotional memory card? I need at least some valid inspirations for my Prince's name... _________________

Judging by the name, the katakana is probably... "fa" "ru" "shu" or... ファルシュ _________________

I thought they called him prince (王子 in kanji).
Either that or ファルーシュ which is Faruushu (I think).
I only started learning japanese three weeks ago so.... |

Almost everyone in the game itself refers to him as "ooji" (prince), often times with the "sama" honorific (except for Lyon, who doesn't seem to use it as much as other people), but that would be his title, not his name. To continue to call him that, especially since the game at points refers to him a <insert name here>王子 (Prince <insert name>), would basically be kind of... well, saying the same thing twice.
For the time being, "Farush" is probably the closest thing to an actual name we'll get until we see a novelization (and it better not be as crappy as Lazlo). Farush itself is actually a rather interesting name and I'd probably stick with it for him. _________________

Due to the fact that my original name for Tir in Suikoden was McDohl McDohl, I don't think I'll have a problem naming him Ouji or Prince or The Prince (<3 Katamari Damacy). |

Faroush would be a better translation for "Faruushu." It's an actual name that is used in certain parts of the world (namely around Iran). |
