Best Mini Game In Suikoden 4

i finally decided to grow either the mushroom or mint in the cultivation room.and after your 3rd time doing it you come across the best game in s4.the battle between the mushrooms and the mints.it's the old school s1 battle system.i found it to be dam cool in the game.any body else happen to like this?

I like it, and I thought it was funny, but it wasn't the best thing in Suikoden IV, IMO. Just a nice little homage to the original game.

I'd be really bored if all the war games were like that!

To be honest, I'm kind of glad they change it up every game. :D

I missed it somehow...`^^';;; Makes me sad 'cause I loved the Suiko1 battles...
My favorite thing about IV was the Ritapon (I played that game for probably fifteen hours at least...) and the Confessional. `^^'

It was a good addition. I honestly got sick of that "Rune-Tile" game with Rita. It annoyed the hell out of me.

Although, I can honestly say I whooped her ass in it.

That Rita-Pon mini game got me sick it got me hours until i was able to defeat her man!. One of my best games in Suikoden 4 is Gunter's(Down to One and Trible Toss) , hmm maybe Net-Fishing and pole-fishing were good too, but the best one got to be the Confession game.

I liked Ritapon too, but I still didn't played the mushroom vs mint minigame. I loved the Suikoden 1 battle system so I will end up loving this game too.

I'd mute poor Rita and play for hours and hours while I was either listening to other music or listening to a book on tapeâ€”I really enjoyed it! I even came up with some strategies, which is scary for me. O_o I usually just play things with reckless abandon...

gunter's dice game is my favorite. what was it called again in suiko 1 and 2 when tai ho was the one doing that game? oh my, i forgot.

ritapon is also a good game. i had a hard time beating her at first but i somehow managed to learn it the second time without reading the instructions. lol.

gunter's dice game didn't have the same name as it did in 1 and 2.his 2 games were called down to 1 and triple toss.don't remember what it was called but know it stars with a c.

Heh, nice to see a topic about Suikoden IV that's not thrashing it. I thought most of the mini games in this game were really fun, but if I had to choose just one, I'd have to say Ritapon. The mere amount of time I spent playing this game was amazing. It had me hooked from the first time I played it. At first the difficulty level was a bit much, but then I started to catch on to how Rita played and beat her quite often.

I also liked the ones Gunther had, though they were just based on pure luck, so I didn't play that often.
