Yeah, you could definately get behind if you say, umn, don't check for updates EVERYDAY. lol. They're cranking out new stuff like cray-zay for this game. Not that i'm complaining. But for anyone not addicted to the flurry of new info, it's easy to get behind.
And I was never under the impression that kitty and lauren was anything but a websites horrid translation. I have a little more faith in Konami than that... :*laugh*: |

Wow, for the most part I'm very pleased with how the translated names have turned out. Sialeeds really isn't that bad.
My favorite so far are Limsleia, Linfa, and Fuwalafuwala. _________________

I'm just calling that beaver Fwaffle. It makes my brain hurt to try to pronounce that other name. _________________ Avatar courtesy of Midori

Japanese loves german names. :D Sometimes its really strange what for german words they use for the name of the charakters. But Zweig could be a cool name depends on the character. |

It sure will.*laugh*
I'm okay with most of the English names too. Thank god they did'nt call Georg "Geroge" or Killey "Kitty' or else I would've blewn up a rant for King's blog. I still don't like "Sialeeds" though. |

Yeah i know... but they could also take some german cliche names like: Peter, Hans, Dietrich, Wolfgang, Jochen like they do in WW2 movies and games hehehe...
it's just funny that the name of your character is Zweig (branch)..it's like calling him banana, strawberry, pepperoni or some kind of that.. It's the "oh thats a german name effect" that they like over at konami.
Ahh.. at the end i've no problem with that, it shows how much interest they have into germany and it's culture.
besides.. for me it's easy to say fuwalafuwalu.. i see no problems in pronouncing it. sure it's kinda funny name..but it matches the funny beaver creature.. |

There is a Hans, he's in Suikoden 2.
The names do make my head hurt a little. Especially Sialeeds and Lyon. And it would have been nice if they knew the origins of Dzerassa's name and knew how to spell it correctly.
And I'm also referring to the beaver leader as Fwaffle. There's just no way I'm learning to pronounce his name like that. So from now on...Fwaffle. _________________

Careful... take away the 'F' and its going to end up being "Waffle". _________________

Waffle it is. :D
EDIT: ARRRGH. Looks like they changed the lightning rune back to green. *hates* The fixed it in SuiTactics, WHY did they change it back? Why can't it just match the spell color? *grumble grumble* _________________ Jack Bauer doesn't miss. If he didn't hit you it's because he was shooting at another terrorist twelve miles away. |

Not sure I follow you. It's always been green, the only reason it wasn't in Tactics was so it wouldn't get confused with Wind based tiles.
The True Lightning Rune is green so any off shoots should be as well. _________________ Prejudice is a great timesaver. It enables you to form opinions without bothering to get facts. |
