Don't worry, Dzerassa, you aren't the only one. I'm not picky on those type of things, so the noise didn't bother me all that much. Neither does voice acting, as long as I can understand what the people are saying, then I have no problem with it... _________________ Avatar courtesy of Midori

I don't mind the sound effects either, it is more likely that you will be able to change them anyway, but I don't particularly mind them as they are, too much of a detail to worry about.
Now the Voice acting seems similar to IV, which is considered mediocre by video games standards (in the scale of the original Resident Evil at the lowest and the Legacy of Kain series at the highest).
Which leaves me satisfied... _________________ "I am ye who walks his own path and thus I walk alone" |

The dialogue looks very "off" at several points. I really do hope they correct all of this for the release. The dialodue is awkward, at best, in some scenes. Not to mention that fugly font! _________________

Oh my I do hope we get a Melody/Connell character... another 40 hours of those menu noises would drive me insane >_<
Where are the "smack!" fist sounds or the "muahahaha" cute voices?! Man I loved that about Suikoden 2.
Well we can but wait and see, I love the sounds and music of Suikoden, perhaps they can take my mind off the nasty menu sounds. Its the small things that bug you. _________________

And I thought I was the only one who thought SIV's menu sounds were aggravating. |

Hmm.. didn't really notice the confimation sounds... then again I'm someone who muted the TV and played techno music while repeatedly fighting ostrich people to level up in Rhapsodia so... _________________

It wasn't in Rhapsodia, it was in SIV. |

I know it was in SIV and not Rhapsodia.. I just meant the Rhapsodia comment as an example of how I'm a person who doesn't pay attention to some things in a game.. sorry if it wasn't clear.. _________________

Gamespot did a little preview of Suikoden V.

Nothing new, it seems, although they seem to be very optimistic about the battle system.
Also, runes are considered artifacts now? What more can they call them? _________________ Tinto: Kicking Asses is our Speciality

They said the sun run, and then described it as being an artifact. I don't think that is what the game is caling them, but a word chosen by whoever wrote that for Gamespot. |

It's not because of that. It's only that every site I read seem to talk about a True Rune as a different thing. One calls it "artifact", other calls it "powerful identity", other calls it "magical mark"... See what I mean? _________________ Tinto: Kicking Asses is our Speciality

In the game, I bet they'll call it a Roaring Brotherhood. _________________

Translations are looking good, with Kitty and Lauren fighting with artifacts over the Cyndar ruins ...
Hopefully the game itself does prove to be a little better! _________________

It could be better than that... with Kitty and Lauren fighting with magical (pock-)marks over cinder ruins...
