HUGE Suikoden V update at Gamespot...IN ENGLISH!!!

Gamespot apparently just put up a new (and rather long) gameplay movie...completely IN ENGLISH! There are numerous samples of voice acting, some gameplay bits (including army battles), duel gameplay, and more. I'll post some interesting points and my opinions on it after I finish watching it. Just thought I'd let everyone know.

On a side note, this means that the release is quickly coming (hopefully no delays this time). Also, the names we've seen probably will not be changing.

Arshetat (Queen)--Arshtat
Syaries--Sialeeds
John(?)--Shoon
Rionne--Lyon
Felid--Ferid
Axe guy with a mohawk--Boz

These are the major ones I remember right now.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS:

Wow! There are so many things to see in this lengthy gameplay movie.

Here are some spoiler-free tidbits:
-Lyon has a rather annoying voice, but you don't get to hear her talk much. It might not be as bad as it seems.
-Arshtat has a very cool and wise-sounding voice, I think it fits her quite nicely.
-The duels and army battles seem more complex than ever, I'm really looking forward to both of these.
-The Shield Rune (Suikoden III) is back, and from the few spells I saw, the battle graphics are looking awesome.
-As King has said in his blog, attack animations are absolutely stunning.
-The little "loading" icons from SI, II, and IV have returned (you can see a quick flash of it at some point during the movie).

SPOILERS!!!

Lyon/Rionne apparently has the Dusk Rune, and the Hero apparantly has the Dawn Rune like we first suspected. At the very end of the movie, both characters cast a spell together, and the Dawn/Dusk runes pop up combined and unleash a spell that hurts the enemy and heals the entire party. The story of this game just keeps getting more and more complex!

OMG... That about sums it up... This game will easily be the best game I play this year. (Even includeing KH2.) I can't wait to get the details from the movie! THIS ROCKS!

The combo attack, "Falena's Finest" looked so awesome.. I think it made my day. I am so surprised by the Hero and Rionne at the end..
All the rune animations look great too.

YES!

Edit: Syaries' voice is PERFECT. Arshtat is great too, as is everyone else, even Lyon/Rionne was decent. I even like the Prince's battle grunts! :D

Really impressed with the voice acting so far. As the others said, everything else looks frickin' incredible.

Gamespot also has over 20 new screenshots. Some revelations include:

-A duel against a new character named Chuck
-A dwarf town!
-An awesome shot of the Sol Falena castle

Just a note to avoid confusion from a previous post.

The rune shown in the trailer is simply the Shield Rune, not the Bright Shield Rune. Most of you know this, but seeing as the Shield Rune's only appearance to date was in Suikoden III, a lot of people may have taken the previous mention of the return of the Bright Shield Rune at face value.

There's not much I can say about the trailer except that it has managed to get genuinely excited about this game which is something I didn't feel yesterday. If it's as good as it looks, it could take the position of best Suikoden RPG after all, which is something I wouldn't admit without reason, seeing as I'm a 2D RPG nut.

yeah...that WAS pretty darn awesome. The voice acting sounds good, the names are far from a problem, The attacks loosk good, the graphics are great...an all around VERY nice clip.

Sorry, I meant Shield Rune in my original post (I got the two mixed up). I'll go fix it now.

Also, just another observation. When the Prince runs off to help the boy in Lordlake, Sialeeds and Georg both talk at about the same time. Obviously, Konami is really making these cutscenes cinematic and with much more realistic voice acting (without random and odd pauses like many other RPGs).
