okay suikofans..um from suikoden 1 to suikoden tactics..um which enemy do YOU think is the toughest one to beat.....mines Luca Blight hehe..yea maybe some of YOU may think i'm weak but i find him harder than the final boss in suiko 2

*i suggest YOU start spelling out words; shorthand isn't acceptable-this isn't an im, so stop being lazy and spell out the words.*

Golden Hydra, hands down. It was a very challenging for me. I was actually forced to have a group healer on my team (Sonya with Flowing), as well as a magician (Crowley with Cyclone), because physical attacks just could not cut it by themselves. Also, the Beast Rune Incarnate, the True Wind Rune Incarnate and the Great Tree could all be beaten in one to two turns, but not this one.

Second place goes to the Zombie Dragon at Toran Castle. Man, was that a tough SOB or what? Even after doing the Great Forest trick, I still had a bit of difficulty on that one.

Heh, i am quite glad i'm not the only one who thought that. The damn thing always takes down my whole party and leaves Tir to battle it one on one with just his physical attacks doing any real damage. I don't even want to think how many Medicines i used on that battle.

Well if you ask me i'd say the the True Wind Rune Incarnate was the hardest because of the style of the battle system in suikoden 3

i hope suikoden 5 will have strong enemies to fight i like it when the battle goes to the limit you will give it your best and feel the true taste of victory

:D

Well thats funny I never had problems with the Zombie Dragon.Matter of fact I only beated him with Hero,Viktor and Camille because the others died before that :P

In Suikoden 1 there isnt really a challenging Boss for me.
Suikoden 2 its Luca and the Last Boss the 2 head Wolf because if he starts attacking you with the "Curse" putting all of you in sleep etc you pretty much owned.
Suikoden 3 I had big problems with Yuber in the end because that SOB always countered me :o

Suikoden 4 the last boss is kinda hard if you dont know that when you defend that the damage is highly decreased :D

That Zombie Dragon fell to Luc like everyone else in that game hahaha.

Ahem, the toughest one for me was fighting the wind rune incarnate with the zexen knights. But a party built to take that thing down could do so easily. The same could be said about the other two. Bring the wrong party and the battle can be very very tough. But bring a party built for stopping Yuber or Sarah and it's easy.

I think the toughest for me was Luca. I never have enough guys ready for 3 parties worth of battles. Sure, you only need to do damage and not win, but I think that was the toughest enemy I've faced.

Wind RIncar

That was the hardest for me hands down. It's one of the few Suikoden bosses that actually killed me and took me multiple times to kill...

The last fight against Sarah also gave me fits due to spell casting issues.

Uh, you DO know we're talking about the Zombie Dragon at Suikoden I, right? You don't have Luc at that point. I believe the party is Tir, Viktor, Gremio, Camille, Cleo and Tai Ho. Unless you cheated Luc into the game.

Zombie Dragon of Suikoden II was NOTHING.

And I have to admit that the final battle with Sarah at the Ceremonial Site was pretty challenging, mainly because I used the six Zexen Knights (with Louis at Support... so no Bujutsu Teacher from Jefferson).

I never really had any problems with anything when I was ready for it. The hardest for me unprepared was probably yuber in 3, or that damnable water dragon thing in the ruins, also in 3. I got my revenged and whooped them both on my second try through though. Muahahaa!

The only two Bosses that have totally wiped me out were both from my first playthrough of the first Suikoden.

The Zombie Dragon

and

The Crystal Core

Both times I was woefully unprepared and deserved to get wiped out.

Oh yeah, that damn Crystal Core at Seek Valley. That's another one. Of course I didn't have trouble with it on my first try because I had Luc in my party, which pretty much decimated it. But on some of my other playthroughs, I always end up underestimating it and bring only physical fighters and no party-healer at all. Thank God Ronnie could use her Hate Rune over and over without getting unbalanced.

Me neither. It just took a long time to beat.

The Zombie Dragon is a pain in the butt ain't it? I'm gonna have to think of a way to get though that fight better. I only won with three people at the end, all the other bosses were done with all six people still up.
