The game will most likely be at the game festival in 2 weeks.

That's certainly good to know. It's been a long time since I've played Valkyrie Profile, but I enjoyed it when I had it.

I can't wait to see what the sequel will be like!

Wow ...never thought a 2nd game would be made. I thought the first one was a one time only type thing. This is awesome news! I just hope they can create a good game and not ruin it. Granted i never beat the first one but i enjoyed it alot.

I just found out about this about 30 seconds ago on RPGFan. When I read, yesterday, that tri-Ace was going to announce a new RPG, something told me it was VP2. Something else I find interesting is that I predicted the title...A few weeks ago, it just came to me...Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria...

Anyway...From the looks of it, it won't have 2D graphics (you can see a few cut-off screens in the pic that Himuro posted). But it looks great, nonetheless. But, since it's a prequel, that means Lezard probably won't be back. :cry:

The graphics are 3D, but there's still the possibility that it keeps the side-scrolling aspect.

Lezard will be there-- whether or not it's part of the story is an entirely different question (time traveling dead madman, anyone?). So long as I collect the souls of the dead and watch their tragic last moments, I will be happy.
