Suikoden I & II being released on PSP

I can't read Japanese so I don't know the details, but Konami has just posted on their web site that they are releasing Suikoden I & II for PSP.

Wow, I thought they'd never re-release the two of them. Shame it's for the PSP, but I guess it's a good business move.

Is there an America re-release planned also I wonder if they will up date? In S1 how you can only use 1 rune and the gate in S2.

Yea i have to say that if it comes to the us i will buy it too. Even though i already own both games, it will be fun to replay them on the PSP. Oh yea and i guess i will have to buy a PSP to go along with my new suikoden games. Oh well, small price to pay for suikoden.

Will they be direct ports?
Or will they refine the graphics, add extra's and throw in a few goodies?

The graphics look sharper from those pics.

Well, got no choice, if its translated, I will have to buy a PSP. My budget is really going to be tight from now on. Ramen everyday.
PS3, revollution, PSP and games. Better start saving. Lucky I'm a rich student without income except my CSN money.

I really hope that the version of Suikoden I in the compliation will have all the extras that were added to the Sega Saturn release.

The resolution on thos epictures is definately higher than the original, it also look slike some detail might've been kicked int the Suikoden I version.

Definate, but not drastic, improvement. There's some clarity improvements and resolution defining.

I'd rather not have to buy a PSP, I guess it would be kind of silly to release it on the PSX especially for NA. I can definitely see it coming here...
