Treasure Map Problem

None of the three Maps I picked up at Illuya shows when I go to look. I have picked each one up, but there not showing nor are they in my menu. I'm sure I had them anslised. I got no clue, and I want those Upper class runes to help prefect my New game + :cry:

Anyone got any idea? Can you acidently sell them or something?

have you gotten rene yet? if so, have her 'translate' the maps for you; after this is done, they are available for your use. the sites are limited to four islands, so that helps narrow your search a bit, plus there's a trick to treasure hunting, once you get the feel of how it works.

You can't sell them user. My bet is you haven't analysed them yet. Try that again, and see what happens.

Make sure that you got the first treasure in Donut Island, then talk to Rene again to analyze the remaining maps you got. The first time you got her, it'd only show map #1, the rest weren't analyzed yet. So make sure that you talk to Rene again if you want the other maps to be analyzed.

The easy way to check is by looking at your item list. If it has no Treasure Map items anymore, then they've been analyzed and should show up when you do the treasure hunting.

To recruit Rene, you will have to first get a bottled message on the beach at Nay Island. Once you got the bottle, you should go to Donut Island, and Rene would be there saying that you passed the test because you found the bottle and you came there. Then she'd join you.

Acutally I have all of the 108. That's not a problem. I've also talked to Rene a number of times. (Even went and grabbed another Map to see if that helped.) They still have the Question Mark over them. I'm at a lost. This never happened before on any of my other playthroughs.

Try to reload the game, there have been cases where people seemed to get "weird" things happening (such as the guy at Mordo not mentioning about Snowe despite having 107 SoDs) that could be solved by re-loading the save file.

If that still doesn't work, I don't really know what's wrong with your game. Tough luck.

Hehe The Bottle is on the beach of Nay. It's close to the end of the beach. You should see a sparkle then pick it up. The Island is located located east off Obel. It's tiny so if you're un-lucky you might pass it. ^^

They aren't that hard to find, but even I have to admit that they are out of the way.

Have you done the first search back at Donut Island, as if you didn't, none of the others will show up.
