No one has had a chance to impliment it yet, but do the royal guards still have defense bonuses? That part wasn't taken out of the battles, right?

Double defense would still be useless if you face the unit that has advantage over your unit.

Marshmallow is the Nation Guard of Zexen.

Yeah, it can be confusing. I was confused for a while thinking Alseid was the Moderator for Falena the whole time and then Elc became the moderator, that confused me and then I realized that Alseid must have been the Nation Guard. It happens to everyone.

Island Nations, Highland and the Nameless Lands come to mind.

For Highland Gwendal is the Royal Guard. Unfortunately he had to leave the forum for personal reasons a while back. We are currently in the process of re-electing another member to carry the Platinum Spear and become the next Royal Guard.
