i think hugo's father is pilika.

a lot of people dont know but she is a he and he discovered the True Increase Age Rune sometime after Suiko 2. Lucia and him just fell in love..

I'm learning that I really like the Suikoden Series.

I have a few notions about Hugo's dad being Geddoe.

1) The Scene in Le Buque where Hugo is Flame
Champion.
I have a few thoughts. Geddoe overreacts and punches
that guys lights out in Le Buque. Queen says something along the
lines of "So Hugo is the flame Champion" (Not
verbatim, but I remember it piqued my interest). THe
initial jist I was getting was a jealousy thing, but,
to me, it seemed like Geddoe is one of those guys who
tells everybody a little bit of something, not a lot
of anything, and nothing close to everything. I feel
like he is there to keep you guessing. In any case,
it seems that he and Queen have a quasi intimacy in
their dealings. Maybe she 'knew' that Geddoe was
actually acting out in frustration of the possibility
of losing his son to the war, and maybe worse yet, to a True Rune.

2) While maybe he isn't the 'kindest' soul in the
universe, he seems to have a deeply human sense of
frustrated compassion. Mercenary types are often like
that. The fact that he (Like Salome) seems to be able
to get on with each faction well enough to do his job well enough to earn the respect of his peers,
and, in that, also knowing Chief Lucia on some level,
would seem to imply to me that they have some kind of
history.

3) While the majority of their conversation is kept
from the rest of the squad (Ace, Joker, etc), unless
I'm totally off base in the memory department, I seem
to remember Geddoe and Lucia having some private
conversation. To me, that would suggest that they
know each other to some extent. Geddoe doesn't strike
me as a braggart.

4) Okay, the old Darth Vader routine. Dark,
brooding, injured (Or is that eyepatch a game
designers rouse, to keep people from seeing the whole
face and thwarting feminine intuition?)bound by duty
and the need to make a living, all the while plagued with visions of the future. Maybe he, being a
Harmonian Mercenary, (Geddoe strikes me as having
immense insight...he is at least 100, with a true
rune, after all, capable of giving him visions of the
future) foresaw some of the big picture, and thought
it better to protect his (and consequently Hugo's)
identity, by not divulging his identity. It would
explain why he got involved in the first place, and
that self absorbtion in Geddoe's eye would seem to
indicate he has some of his own agenda while working
as a mercenary.

5) I'm reasonably sure you've thought of all of the
above on your own, or at least been given some similar
specualtions by people other than myself which are
very close to, if not exactly, everything I've just
mentioned. The largest possible flaw (apart from the
blurry memory of events I witnessed about six months
ago (Lucia, Geddoe, item #3) in my logic is eye color.
Geddoe's eyes are extremely dark in contrast to
Hugo's own aqua color. My genetics studies are years
behind me, so I'm not 100% positive that it would make
all the differrence. Still, Jimba's appearance was
altered by a true rune (or so says one rumor I've read
on the net, and a strong argument for his paternity,
IMHO), why not Geddoe's? Especially if he was, in fact, Pesmerga, on his hunt for Yuber, who would have fit the qualifications for having been in the prior wars.


Whatever the story is, he doesn't seem to be completely ruled out. I may have a few of my facts crossed or blurred, but it seems to me that it isn't entirely unlikely. Is it :?:

If I've screwed up, I'm sure someone on the forum will have caught my error. Think on it. Personally, I'm almost kind of hoping it is Geddoe. He may not have been the most interesting character, but I think he had a lot of depth.

maybe lucia flerted or said something about the father or mabee if we bring every black haired guy to lucia ( exept for people in s1 cause lucia isnt in it) she'll react to the person
