eBay is the best place. It's only available in Japan you see so you won't find it on any US/UK stores.

There was a copy available in Play Asia yesterday you better hurry up though those babies sell like hot cakes, is used with everything but I'm not sure for the cards, it's also $45 or something like that.

Hey Arenegeth , I ordered that Suikoden Demon Century Video that you were talking about. You said something about it being a promotional video that was advertised with the first Suikoden game. It should be arriving any day now. I'll keep you informed. I'll let you know if it is any good.
I wonder if it will or will not compare to the Suikoden games as far as the 108 stars of destiny are concerned. You never know, it might have some similar characters in it. It was made in 1996 so I'm not sure if this video came out first or the first Suikoden game came out first or they were released to coincide with each other as the promotional leaflet you mentioned said.
Where is my mail man anyhow already. He is so lazy. It's the afternoon even and he still hasn't arrived. No sense in complaining though. I don't want him to get fired and end up going postal. Damn postman's union. We used to get our mail in the morning on time. It really is a conpiracy. |

Wait not a video but a postcard, you can find more details in a thread in Suikosource but I will tell you some things here.
When the anime tape was released in the UK it had together a promotional Post card from Suikoden the game, and the original game had a leaflet advertising the video.
Now as far as connections go there are apparently none, the similarities follow that Zhu Huan or whatever story, the Water Margin or in Japanese Suikoden.
The only connection between the two or at least the only one proven is the apparent co-advertising co-promotional agreement between A.D.V. and Konami in relation to game and tape.
In my collection above I only mention the promotional post card and not the video since with the current information it has nothing to do at all (other than the UK promotion of course) with Suikoden the game.
Now if the tape you are waiting for is sealed and the UK version then I suppose the post card will be included too, if not and is a US version or used it may not be present.
I personally liked Demon Century as a stand alone short anime that is since it has nothing to do with the game is set in yet another version of Tokyo.

It sucks being in Canada since EB doesn't carry most of their pre-order deals up here.

Anyone know where to get Suikoden wall scrolls or posters? I'll take imports too. |

Man. All of these collections embarrass the hell out of mine. I've got Suikoden I, II, III, and IV...all regular North American releases that I bought at the Electronics Boutique in the same bloody mall (where, incidentally, I'll be picking up my copy of Suikoden Tactics whenever that bloody gets here). Maybe I bought the first game somewhere else...I don't recall. I haven't even played those crazy Suikogaiden games...

Wow, some pretty impressive collections, here. They sure put mine to shame...All I have is:
Suikoden I
Suikoden III
Suikoden IV
Suikoden III Manga 1-2
That list would be a lot longer if only I had the money to fund this addiction. I don't even bloody have Suikoden II.
I'll probably be adding Suikoden Tactics to that collection, this weekend, though. I'd also love to get the figures, and some art books. The Celtic soundtracks intrigue me, too. Does anyone know where I could download some tracks, or samples, or something? |
