[Phase 5] Nameless Land Exploration Party (Northlands)

Having set out from Saintler Port and through the treacherous desert of Maturai, the Nameless Land exploration party were still in high spirits, thanks to their expereince with desert and marshland. More than 10000 soldiers under Earthquake923, Nailo, and Genome Soldier proceeded due north after leaving familiar land. Soon they emerged from Maturai desert, finding themselves at a vast, chilly tundra that extended towards towering mountains in the distant north, and towards the vast sea to the east. The party traced the coastline as they continued north, encountering various fauna and fungi unfamilar to them, however, there was no sign of civilization.

After two weeks, however, scouts under Genome Soldier reported that a town called Urbeto Barbordi was located in a small inlet, populated by privateers and fur-traders who seem to have made a trade out of the uncommon pelts from this region.

Remembering Shrew's command to claim all towns they find, the three ordered their men to advance. To their surprise, one they approached the town, the townsmen have already prepared themselves, lining up with hatchets and cutlasses in anticipation for the enemy.

Earthquake923 ordered his magicians to unleash their fury. Not accustomed to fighting against magicians, and not used to battle on land, the privateers of Urbeto Barboridi suffered 3014 casualties. The 1120 remaining privateers ran to their ships and fled.

Nailo did not fair as well as he faced the havily armed town guards. Deflecting Nailo's arrows, the 2200 town guards rushed into their ranks, deveating Nailo's regiment in short order.

However, Genome Soldier's cavalry saved the day as they rode in and mowed through the remaining smugglers, easily defeating them.

The exploration party then quickly entered the town and pacified all resistance, forcing the denizens to surrender to the rule of the Nameless Lands.
