bath

Bath scenes were great in any game. I just liked the whole idea. I like the over-all concept of the baths that they used in 2 best, because the decorations and motifs of the baths were lots of fun. But I found when I played without being told about what to do, I stumbled upon more scenes in 3. They were easy to access and easy to discover, which was really nice. It seemed like I got a new scene almost 50% of the visits I took to the bath! As far as simple amusement goes, Gensui3 baths were joyous.
Still, I certainly wouldn't mind if they went back to the older bath style for Gensui4. It would be neat to see the characters again, if only the top-half and the girls wear towels or something. And I'd love to be able to change the look of the baths!

The bath in Suikoden3 is the most hilarious thing to watch (of course next to the theatre), it is so much amusing that I even did not see it until the end so that I can watch the conversations whenever I want.

It was really a good idea to make characters speak in the bath and have conversations in it, it helped me to understand a little bit about there characters, also see the way of there thinking.

Speaking about my favorite conversation it was the one between little Viki and Estella, it is so funny to watch especially these lines:

Y.Viki: "Do you make lies like this up everyday? You're not very busy, are you?" Estella: "You're pretty smart, aren't you?"
Y.Viki: "Well, it doesn't take a genius..."

My second favorite one is the one between Mel and Belle.

The most funny and embarrassing one is the one between Cecile and Chris, the line where she said:

Cecile: "It must be so great, to have the bits that stick out and the bits that stay in be so clearly revealed!"
Chris: "You really think so? But, I...I don't really notice it that much."
Cecile: "I think, If I was an attractive woman... Look, I'm only like this..."
Chris: "!!!"
Cecile: "Humph, hurry up, grow! I want to be an adult!"
Chris: "(Girls nowadays, they really know the fundamentals...)"

I am sorry for being rude by writing it but I could not resist.

This is my opinion on baths, I hope we they raise the number of conversations in Suikoden4.

I didn't have the time to do all of the conversations , but I remember the best bath scene , it was between Chris and Estella .

the bathing conversations were friken halarious i mean when u put flik, victor, riou(hero#2) and nina in to the same bath c'mon cant get beter than that.....but the best thing in suikoden 2 hands down is the cookin contests.....but thats for another topic :mrgreen:

Someone has already posted this, but the one with Chris and Cecile stands out most in my head for utter hilarity. It was the first I attempted that worked, and it was totally unexpected.
