International Duel Tournament - Discussion Thread

Announcement

To bridge the time gap between the last and the next war phase the administration has decided to hold an international duel tournament.
The tournament will be a simple elimination match with eight participants. Due to the striking significance of KARma in terms of stats, five separate karma class tournaments will be held, which raises the number of participants to 40.
Since I expect more than eight prospective combatants for each karma class, unspectacular preliminary rounds will decide who will be allowed to enter the tournament.

How will the duels work?
The tournament will be based on the stats, and it will use an RPS-system similar to the war game. Each combatant will submit a series of ten commands for a duel.
The preliminary rounds will work without commands - I will instead simply use SARSadmin's duel simulator for them.

How can I participate?
You only need to state your wish to do so here. You will then be added to my list. After the preliminaries are over, participants of the main event will have to provide further information about their alter ego.
If you're going to enter this event, please state in bold letters I will fight. I'm sure that there will be many questions and comments cluttering this topic (which is not a bad thing), and this would make sure that I do not miss someone or add someone against his will.
The deadline for this event is Thursday noon one week from today, boardtime.

How are you going to decide the pairings?
I will use dice to determine the duel pairings.

What are the karma classes?
The five classes are 1-99, 100+, 200+, 300+, 400+. I know that this way there will still be large discrepancies within the classes, but that's the way it is.

What will be the reward?
The five winners of the five classes will receive a victory for their victory count, and thus a stat boost. And the others? Disport, hopefully.

How will the battles look?
I will paraphrase the duels in the final rounds, hopefully creating an entertaining story. In the preliminaries, I will simply announce the results.

You are welcome to ask questions. You are also free to make suggestions, but they will most likely not be considered.

What the heck I'll enter, I'm surely not the worst under 100 karma member out there. Though I can think of a few right now off the top of my head that will beat me easily.

Good point, I forgot that while I was posting sorry. Oh well, hopefully I won't get the ones who can beat me during the preliminaries in that case.
