Was a decision ever reached on how that was going to play out? I know there was some debate over this.
The three options were:
1) Say nothing so only the nations know what happened
2) Post saying "So-and-so found something," but only tell the nation what they found
3) Post all results publicly.
Which one was chosen, if any?

Omg, you have no idea how excited I am about exploration. People in Tinto can testify that I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the exploration results. No lie, I'm as "giddy as a school girl" about the results. This is something that I've been asking about in Tinto, I remember that your sometimes able to discover a new region and if you do, how is the name of a newly discovered region decided? Is it up to the new governor, the nation leader, or is it predetermined? |

I guess we will find out soon enough what happened.
Will they be written like the battles or only have results posted?

I am personally interested in seeing the results of the explorations merely to see how they are played out on the forum. Not only that but the many possible results that could come from said explorations could make for most interesting possibilities if you ask me. Anyways that is merely my thoughts on the matter and I find it interesting all of everyone elses thoughts on the matter as well. Though if I really wanted to be a pompous guy I would say that mine is really the only opinion that matters. So I guess it's a good thing that I am not one of said people hmm? Thats what I thought you would say.

I think the results of the explorations will be left up to the decision of the Nation Leader.
Afterall, if a nation gets awarded new units or navel units, you wouldn't want them announcend to everyone straight away.
There are obvious things that you cannot hide, so, new dueling units in your nation, as scouts will find them easily - but really, it should be upto the choice of the Nation Leader.
Saying that, I'm quite excited about the exploration results as well.

Yeah I really want to know what Zexen found if anything. And as said before just with a strategic point of view you really don't want that stuff announced, but then again some stuff will be harder to hide such as new territories and new units.

Does anyone know the specifics of how the results will be handled? Will the Leader be PM'd, or will it just be posted o their board? Will a new thread be started?

I assume the nation leader would be updated on exploration and then it is up to him or her to decide how else within the nation or outside it gets to know what happened. I suppose it depends on the nation leader's belief in the term "Need to Know Basis".
