I wouldn't read into this too much. Sure, it's nice that the Suikoden franchise is being used for something, but I'm pretty sure that a lot of different Konami franchises, both active ones as well as really really dead ones, have been used as basis for pachinko games in the past. So ultimately, this means nothing as far as I'm concerned...

If they wanted to ride on the franchise popularity to make the pachinko, they could have gone with MGS, Castlevania or some other properties..

Why would they do this? Seriously? This had better be more mind numbing preparation for Suikoden VI or this is just completely uncalled for otherwise. :?

Damn! That's a badass trailer for a slot machine! It even makes Suikoden IV look better than it was.

Edit: Hmm? Maybe a hint at the graphics of the next Suikoden...?

They have made a Castlevania pachislot machine.

The graphics certainly are nice, though Lazlo's face looks weird. At least they are doing something.....

*Goes back into deep meditation, willing Suikoden VI into existence*

Ha well it does look pretty neat. If I ever get to Japan I'll make sure to play one at least. I'll also make sure everyone around me knows how awesome the franchise it's based off of is. Perhaps that was Konami's plan :?

Razro!

I can believe we got that one wrong though since Lazlo is an actual name. . .

Could it be a pronunciation thing though? Maybe I'm hearing it wrong, but in Tierkries it sounds to me that Rs were, for the most part, pronounced as L's.

He was supposedly named after Razril, hence Razro.

Of course it is a Pronounciation thing as Japanese doesn't know the "l"-pronounciation. So both Razro and Lazlo are right (from our pov), but it makes sense that he is named after Razril. Well, how will you erase that fact from the Suikoden community's memory, which used Lazlo for years, haha :D

Simple. You won't. Just like many other things, we will see it as Lazlo in English (and Europe, I'd assume), and it will be Razro in Japan. That's actually one of the weird things of Tierkreis. Names were translated for the English version, but the VAs were given the japanese pronunciations, so that most of the time, the names sounded wrong.

The blame belongs to whoever first translated the name as Lazlo.
