So does this mean that I should stop having Splenda coated bacon rolled in tobacco and wrapped in salami for breakfast?

Oh God that sounds vile...

As many has said, I know longer care what all these studies say. Everything gives you cancer apparently. One day someone will say that breathing even clean air gives it to you.

Not exactly a surprise, Bacon was never going to be good for you.

Yeah, but you would spend so much more time asleep that you wouldn't be able to as much that gives you cancer! Unless sleeping gives you cancer now.

The act of living increases your chances of cancer.

DIE NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.

I used to be scared whenever I saw that the consumption of so and so food could lead to cancer. Upon further studying though, I realized that the diet of practically any type of person not living a completely isolated life would include at least one thing that is cancerous.
Food coloring? Check.
Presevatives? Check.
Carbon from badly cooked meat? Check.

Even assuming that you avoid all three of those, large amounts of stress and working at night also have a good chance of making you get cancer, and even if you avoid that, you'll still have a chance of getting cancer from the outside air.

Conclusion: If you can discover a way to avoid cancer 100%, you'll find that it's not really worth your time. The best you can do is to eat in moderation.

There's a risk in everything. You might as well not live if this was the case.

cancer causes cancer.

its a shame all the nice tasty easy things give you cancer, conviencace foods are nice, I mean who has time to acctualy make fried chicken or beef strongauf for lunch?

is there a way to have natural bacon? granted you loose the convineance of it, but I'm sure back in the day bacon was healthier.

as for weight I'm currently 83 pounds, the most I ever weighed was 90.

Indeed. Looking at this website you're sitting in front of a monitor that is giving off minute amounts of radiation giving you cancer. If you have windows in your room you're getting uv radiation from the sun giving you cancer. You drink bottled water, the chemicals in the plastic will give you cancer.

You can't win. Eat healthy, get rest, try not to step out in front of a bus and you'll get cancer but at least you shouldn't get it until you're an elder.

This is not new news, I heard many years ago that the preservative in bacon was carcinogenic, it was reported way back then that orange juice helped to nullify it's effects actually.

Basically, the only carbon-based or organic carcinogenic products you need to worry about are those that are heavily alkylated, like chloroform....but no one in their right mind would injest those anyway.
