Well, I think topics like this are always fun to not only participate in, but to read as they give you an idea of what is on someone's playlist and it may inspire you to listen to buy, listen to, or whatever with that same song. Right now I'm listening to a number of CDs I rented from the local video and music store, Tsutaya. I got the following:

-Genso Suikoden II OST Vol. 1
-Genso Suikoden II OST Vol. 2
-Genso Suikogaiden Vol 1. OST
-Genso Suikogaiden Vol 2. OST
-Chrono Trigger OST

Right now I am on the second disk of the GSII OST Vol 2 and the current track is number 27 Prayer to my Mother from where Teresa recounts the story of the Muse refugees (amongst other things).

A Perfect Circle:
Mer Der Noms
13th Step

Liquid Tension Experiment 1 and 2

Genso Suikoden:
Orrizonte
Celtic Collection 1 and 2

Blind Guardian:
Nightfall in the Middle Earth
Tales of the Twilight World
A night in the Opera

Soundgarden:
Badmotorfinger
Down on the Upside
Superunknown

Recently i was introduced to "Velvet Revolver: Contraband" and "The Darkness: Permission to land". I'm more fond of the first...

Also, i'm desperately looking for "The Mars Volta: De-loused in the Comatorium", in any possible format *hint hint*

Skip to Volume 1's version of Prayer to my Mother. Very good stuff.

Just now. Borknagar Om Hundrede Aar Er Alting Glem Thats Norwegian and I think its stands for "Within one hundred years, all will be forgotten".

Its from the album "The Olden Domain".

Lately I have also been listening to Suikoden 2 soundtrack but I didnt feel like listening to that right now.

Mmm, Chrono Cross OST. I've been listening to that along with The Wall and Beck's Odelay in my car lately.

My song of obsession at the moment is Haruka Kanata, the second opening of Naruto. I'm listening to Noppz' Kefka goes West OC remix at this exact moment.

Some good tastes in music, this board.

Well, unless you're in some unheard-of, third-world nation, you could buy the CDs online (you kinda have to, since they're not internationally released).

Hellsing OST 1: Raid.

The specific track playing this instant? "Dracula's Holy Pupil and R&R." It's the song they play during the first and last fights. You know, from the "It's going to take more than guns to stop me. Shooting me is not going to DO you any good!" bit.

Currently, I'm listening to Corvus Corax - Goigs de la nostra dona.

Corvus Corax has some of the best MEDIEVAL music out there. Lots of Celtic influence, but it's mixed with other elements too. Some of the music makes you feel like you're in Rome or Greece.

The CD I'm listening to at the moment is 'Sorrow of the Angels', from While Heaven Wept. The current song playing is 'Thus With a Kiss I Die'.

It's an absolutely beautiful song with some haunting instrumentals. The singer's voice fits perfectly with the mood of the whole CD; real slow but heavy with a hint of sorrow in his voice. Every song this band has done is terrific.
