Do we have any information about Faylon's bird? I see it on his head in almost all his art, and yet he never speaks of it in the game, and not even Oboro turns up anything on it.
If there's no factual info, any speculation? I know it's not some big deal/issue, but it just seems interesting. _________________

Very true! I actually didn't even know there was a bird on his head, but his character art does show one... It doesn't look like a rubber duck or anything either... like an actual living bird on his head.
And nope, I can't find any info on the bird, either! WTF!! |

I never even noticed it was there 0_o
k4in, it's not that there's anything special about it, but in the past, nearly every counterpart to a character has had some mention at some point. _________________

I think that bird is on his head just to show how "vacant" his head is. It's kind of like an expression. |

Doesn't Faylin also have a bird on her headband? Or is it only a feather? _________________ Be awed by our prowess!

Me too, I never even noticed it until just now. When I read through this topic, I immediately turned on my PS2 and looked for Faylon's character art to see if there really is such a bird. It turns out that there indeed is a bird on his head. Man, I missed out on this.
Anyways, so there's no information we can get out of it, eh? This interests me even more. |

Come on! Okay, it is sad that we don't even know the name (if it has a name) of the animal like we do about the Suikoden II's investigator's cat, but it is not as if he walks around with a crocodile at his side. I think it is just a bird, so unimportant that most of the people didn't even see it. _________________

Either it is very unimportant, or it is very good at what it does. It almost like it does not want to be noticed...
In any case, not even Faylon seemed to be aware of the bird. _________________

I know what you are talking about, I believe...
It's like that person on whose head a bird sits that flies a few moments when the person moves and sits down again on the head. Normally everybody but that certain person realises what happens, but in our case nobody seems to recognise the bird, not even to mention it shortly... _________________

Maybe it was put there just to amuse those who watch? But Faylon doesn't really need a bird to amuse people right? _________________

Or maybe it's grooming him in a similar fashion to what Homer Simpson tried to do with a bird after seeing an elephant do it.
This took me ages to find...
