Edited to reflect my inability to count regarding the number of battles that the Queendom of Falena is fighting.

I though the Naval battle at the Silver Sea and the Northern Horn won't happen, due to naval routes being cut-off for one of the nations. I think the attackers win by default?
Can someone clarify? |
Iscalio probably knows better than I do, but I was under the impression that any battle at a region on the map, including a naval region, could be fought with supply lines cut off, but with the usual 25% penalty in soldier counts applied to it.
Am I totally incorrect here?
Until clarification is obtained, based on the guess that iscalio knows what he's talking about, I have added a note for each of those battles reflecting this. _________________

I wasn't aware of that myself, Parallax. But since my country is involved in one of the two battles in question Vector has informed us about the situation. The Northern Horn and the Silver Sea will indeed be conquered by the Archonate and the Republic by default. |

Well, that's logical anyway, it wouldn't make much sense for a defender to move ships into a naval region that she doesn't have access to. Quite unlike in a land battle where there is presumably a standing garrison and there are inhabitants in the region who could fight. _________________

Just a reminder that turn 1 commands and battle rosters are due by the end of today (11:59pm EST). If these are not in by the deadline, there will be penalties (late submissions will still be accepted). |

Nope. Both myself and Vector are busy for a few days. I'll be doing some battles, raids and perhaps some explorations tommorow (as I've literally only got back this morning and I've got to run away again).
If people want to help speed things up so I can crack on straight away tommorow, just post me a list of the battles that are remaining RIGHT HERE (don't PM me!) so I can move straight into them. _________________

Does the Highland <> Makanakuy battle at the Sea of Sadness fall into this category being as Makanakuy is totally cutoff here? We have seen Clever Jake at this battle which means despite being cutoff the Makanakuy are fighting here regardless of who they may bring in as backup. _________________

That depends on transition it seems as if you check the forfeitted battles thread the following is listed.
Quote: |
Queendom of Falena vs. Makanakuy at Malsklavejo |
Which means that whenever that is in effect, the Maks get a port location to the Sea of Sadness and arent cut off from it. So if its instantaneous then they were only cut off for a brief instant. _________________
