Fame

In my quest to create more variables to use, I added a new variable: Fame.

You can see this in your profile.

At this point, this serves no function, but it may serve some function in the future.

Fame increases when people bother to look at your profile. You can look at your own profile to increase fame as well, but the script is smart enough stop the same person from repeatedly looking at the same profile. Basically, the same person can only cause one member's fame to increase once every 24 hours.

Maybe all I'll do is make some stupid list that shows "10 most famous members!" or something. Let's see what sort of strange behavior this new variable will trigger.

I was wondering why my fame was higher than other posters, considering I am quite new.

I spent the last five minutes trying to figure out how this stat is calculated and especially wondered about Schala-Kid's impressive fame. Now you destroyed the mystery.

Well, at least you had your 5 minutes of trying to figure out fame, ahahaha.

The data-gathering has only started in the last two or so days, so this variable will inflate quite rapidly anyhow. At this point it probably has little meaning. Probably about 100 days would have to pass until this variable builds some reliability.

Oh my god, I always wanted to be famous.

All is left for me to wait for is an awesomeness stat; that would truly rock. Anyway, let's just wait and see what purpose you give to this little variable in the future.

I'm just about the least famous person here, but that's entirely okay with me. How can I be a ninja and famous at the same time? I can't, that's how!

But it's really an interesting little feature. Now we can have suikoden Prom Kings and Queens!
