Edit: I've put up the rebel/victory count section again, so if someone wants to be kind to look over it. I might have missed some information that I put up last time as well, so if there's something I'm missing, let me know.

It's exactly the same as it was before isn't it? All the errors reported above were addressed though. Nice work Axiose.

I had a thought last night about the War FAQ.

I looked for a section regarding the purchase of vessels, how they work, and how many (if there is a limit?) each nation is permitted to have...and we don't have one!

I went back and looked at the naval vessel thread from when they were first introduced, since it's still here in Budehuc, but it would be extremely convenient to have that information in the War FAQ, considering that the vessels are now an integral part of naval combat.

Okay, I've put it under the "Attacking By Sea" section.

In the Uses of Political Points:
Quote:
Addition of sub-forum - 1 point/forum - Allows your nation to have an extra sub-forum within their nation.

But in the Chiepoo's store:
Quote:
New Subforum - 500,000 potch (maximum of 5 subforums per nation, not including "Leaders" forum)

Which is real? I'd assume that it is the one in Chiepoo's store but I'd like to be sure.

Both are real. The potch payment is meant as an alternative method to obtain a new sub-forum in case the nation does not have the extra PP to spend. Obviously, the 500,000 potch price-tag is more expensive than the 100,000 potch gain if you use 1 PP to make money instead. So if you want to have a sub-forum, it is better to use your PP to save money.

Would it be possible to add a piece which defines regiments are classed as marines and which as artillery with regards to the navy setups?

I still get confused about Rangers. Are they marines (swordsmen) or artillery (magic users)?

At the moment those specific slots are irrelevant, what does matter is that they are just filled. That was noted speficially in the Phase 13 naval rule amendment made by Axiose.

Quote:
The Captain, Artillery and Marines can be changed at the latest by the DOI of that particular phase (you can submit the changes with your DOI). You can change them before DOIs are due, but not after. You'll have to wait until the end of the phase then to change the crew.

So basically, it just means that if a nation only has one ship, they can only send three people to a naval battle, right?

Correct on both counts!

So as far as the navy set up goes anything but a captain is undefined on a vessel.

eXistence of Fly is right. There's no point adding that information yet anyway as the whole system might change before then anyway.

That was worded in a confusing way though since no one said for what purpose it didn't matter. I took that to mean that with regard to what units you use in what particular order in battle, doesn't matter, not that the positions themselves didn't matter. Like you didn't have to use a captain, a marine, and an artillery in one turn, not that you could put whoever wherever.

Clarified now, but some of us are dumb and things should be made explicit in the future.

It was made explicit.

That's why I didn't think it really needed re-wording in the FAQ. Anyway, all sorted now!

This wasn't in the War FAQ, but I think it should be answered. What happens if two people gathering intel duel and the loser of the duel is assigned to be in the first turn of the battle?

Also, the amount of extra damage done from a regiment advantage is not stated directly anywhere. An example mentions it, but it only shows it for that one example and doesn't state if it is universal or not.
