Hear ye hear ye!!

I hereby proclaim a competition of nations!

Each nation must prepare a banner/flag for themselves. These banner will be used as your symbol on all official discourse relating to national matters, so work carefully!

There is a size limit, however. The banner/flag must be within 150 pixels in height, and 200 pixels in width.

A flag must at least show some way to distinguish your nation.
It must also include some textual motto written in any language.

Nations that accomplish this would be rewarded in the order of completion.
Rewards will be handed to the Nation Leader, who would either keep it all for themselves or distribute it as seen fit by their own judgement.

~~4th Place: 8500 soldiers~~ Claimed by Falena

~~5th Place: 8000 soldiers~~ Claimed by Jowston

~~6th Place: 7500 soldiers~~ Claimed by Scarlet Moon Empire

~~7th Place: 7000 soldiers~~ Claimed by Zexen

~~8th Place: 6500 soldiers~~ Claimed by Grassland

9th and 10th Place: 6000 soldiers

I have absolutely no photoshop skills, so I'm just using the Rune of Punishment with a slight color change.

Perhaps one of your citizens have photoshop skills?
The above doesn't qualify as a flag, unfortunately.
It doesn't fulfill the requirement.
(Needs some sort of motto)

Also, once submitted these can not be changed.

I know, I was stupid enough to forget to paste the text. It'll be fixed in one moment. Also, none of my citizens frequent here very often. Better to do it myself.

EDIT: Actually, considering the sheer lack of skills used in making my flag, I'll take last place.

Uhh, then why not see if your nation members like it first? If you're going for the last place anyways. They can help, you know.

I hope this is up to everyone's expectations.

Incidentally, for a 3000 soldier commision I could put something together for the Island Nations (or any other nation that wishes me to make something for them) just send me a brief descriptions of colour schemes and what you would like your banner to contain.

I Have a question, does the president have to make it? If not, what would happen if someone else made it, would it still go to the leader?

Oh, thank God. I worked as hard as I could to get it to look nice (which is why I changed my mind), but ACDSee doesn't let me add text. That means I have to go into Paint and add it, then go back into ACDSee to undo all of the damage Paint does when saving it in JPEG format.

The leader doesn't have to make it, but the soldiers will all go to the nation leader. It's the nation leader's choice to distribute any of the soldiers.

I just saw this. I'm not at home at the moment, so I cannot make a banner till this evening (CET+1). If one of my citizens would like to make one, go ahead.

If you make one, use one of these mottos and use a golden/brownish color scheme.
1) By industry we prosper
2) dulcis pro patria labor
3) naomh coll gill agus an angil
